The list server is an excellent method for our customers to exchange ideas, suggestions, tips, techniques and support. It fosters communications between our customers. It also provides Data Technologies with valuable feedback from our customers.
The function of an e-mail list server is to allow an individual to send an e-mail message to a single e-mail address for the purpose of broadcasting the message to a group of individuals who share a common interest. The list server will then automatically duplicate this message and forward it to all subscribers of the list. In our case, the list will be those individuals who have licensed one or more of our products and currently have a Summit product support agreement.
The list server will allow us to broadcast advice, suggestions, and messages to the customer base as well as allow our customers to ask for and receive assistance from each other. It also allows our customers to provide feedback to us on new software enhancements.
The list server is just one more tool that allows us to serve our customers.
