Work Orders

The Summit's Work Orders module helps track inventory and other costs associated with an activity or job performed by your city or utility. The Work Orders module interfaces to Inventory Control and General Ledger. The Work Orders module provides a Point of Issue system allowing you to charge inventory to a work order so that you can track the costs for a specific job. Pick tickets can be printed to help pull items out of inventory and quantities are automatically reduced in the Inventory Module.

The Work Orders module also provides efficient entry of the cost of non-inventory items, machine cost, and labor cost to perform for a specific work order.

You can also schedule work and reserve inventory for a specific job, reducing available inventory levels. Customizable Work Order forms print to help you schedule and delegate work.

The Work Orders module can track and report cost over time providing you with the direct cost of each job.
