The Summit Tax Billing module helps you manage every aspect of billing and collecting real and personal property tax. Summit’s unique speed entry feature allows you to enter yearly evaluations without having to key in the parcel number or account number. Each property has a record that appears in the same order as the evaluation report provided by the county, eliminating entering in lengthy parcel numbers. You can import evaluations using our Evaluation Import Module, if you choose.
Tax bills can be calculated and reviewed prior to updating the customers’ records, allowing you to correct any errors. The Tax Billing module features a customizable bill form which allows you to print the total amount owed based on the month the payment is remitted.
You can easily create a tax record, enter an evaluation, and assess the correct penalty for supplemental bills from a single window. Abatements can also be easily handled for correcting over-billings or forgiving penalties.
