The Special Assessments module simplifies the complex task of assessing and billing for special assessments. The software is highly parameter driven giving you tremendous flexibility to determine how you want to manage your capital improvements that you assess to your citizens.
For each assessment you enter the Project #, description, sub-division, assessment type (i.e. Paving, Sewer, Water, Sidewalk) and date levied. The interest rate, delinquent interest rate, and length of assessment default based on your parameters. Next you enter the levy amount for customer that is assessed for the capital improvement and then print the bill/assessment notice. It is that simple.
