Summit’s Inventory Control module gives you complete control over stock levels, insuring your inventory is accurate and up to date. You can track stock items from when a purchase order is placed, to when inventory is received and an item is issued.
You can enter items with or without cost insuring your quantities are up-to-date. Summit will adjust the average cost of an item whose cost was entered at a later date.
The Work Order Module provides a Point of Issue system allowing you to charge inventory to a work order so that you can track the costs for a specific job. Pick tickets can be printed to help pull items out of inventory and quantities are automatically reduced.
Our reports and the inquiry window provide accurate quantities and cost information helping you maintain your stock. The buyers guide report identifies which items need to be ordered as well as the suggested quantities based on reorder points and recommended stock levels.
Alphanumeric stock numbers allow you to create easily identifiable stock numbers that can contain important information including which major product groups an item belongs to. This will help you prevent the common error of issuing the wrong stock item.
